We’re looking for an energetic, confident communicator, an experienced Accountant who enjoys working as part of a collaborative finance team in a busy end-to-end role. The nature of the business means you will need to be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and understands how to partner with the business. You’ll provide technical accounting support to the CEO of Darling Group Australia and wider organisation with the key finance deliverables of monthly and annual financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. You will join a wider team of Finance Business Partners across the Group, working collaboratively with business units to help facilitate the best financial decisions.
You'll have the opportunity to bring your expertise to the table when it comes to understanding current processes and developing and driving process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
You’ll need 3 to 5 years of practical accounting experience, CA or CPA qualified and be proficient at preparing accounts to a client-ready level whilst managing a small team.
This high-profile role offers a good range of commercial decision making - managing all the key projects & understanding the key profitability, cost analysis and project delivery, liaising with all the senior operational teams. You’ll also assist the Group Chief Financial Officer in meeting all the month-end reporting deadlines and drive all the systems improvements & initiatives.
