We have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner in our finance transport team. With a team of over 400 our finance team offers large scope for personal development and career opportunities. Working with key business units you will gain insight in to how our business runs and be part of key strategic initiatives.
For this role we have both full time and flexible part time job share options.
About the Role
The Finance Business Partner will partner with multiple business units, including some key project support. This is a highly visible role, playing a key part in influencing, coaching and engaging across the health and homecare and General Needs business units. You'll also:
- Provide fact-based insight and commentary for BAU performance.
- Influence Business Partner decision making with fact-based insights and innovative analysis.
- Support the delivery of any business initiatives and projects including managing the finance resource
- Collaborate with the buying team to build robust budgets and forecasts. Carry out effective weekly and monthly review of results.
- Identify and define system improvements to enhance the delivery of team and Coles wide objectives
- Support the governance surrounding all business processes and ensure an appropriate audit trail is maintained. Drive objectives through ensuring business priorities and day to day processes are delivered
About You and Your Skills
- We are after a passionate and energtic Finance Business Partner who has the ability to manage competing workloads and deliver the best outcomes for stakeholders. You'll also need:
- Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, stakeholder management, change management, problem solving and influencing skills
- Strong commercial and analytical skills to support understanding of key performance drivers, and raise recommendations on actions required to improve performance
- Experience of working with both financial and non-financial stakeholders and ability to distil and effectively communicate complex information/problems to a broad range of audiences
- Experience of financial KPIs across the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
