About the role
This newly created position provides dedicated, commercial and financial decision support aligned to strategic and customer priorities, to win good business and improve customer value. This role acting as a trusted partner will challenge assumptions, influence decisions and make recommendations for efficiency improvements in order to sustain growth and costs controls.
About you
You will be ambitious, energetic and driven with exceptional technical abilities looking to play a key role in supporting leadership business decisions. With strong relationship development and influencing skills your key experience will include:
- Relevant accounting and/or business degree and CA/CPA qualifications
- Experience in a similar finance partnering role, ideally in a similar sector but not essential
- A proven history of delivering results in financial analysis, modelling and supporting executive level decision making to achieve business strategic goals
- Extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting and month-end processes
- Strong experience in revenue recognition and reconciliation along with multi-level reporting delivery
- The management of contract/activity-based revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Demonstrated resilience, innovations and developing efficiencies
- Advanced MS office and Excel skills, and Power Query and Power BI skills would be beneficial
- Proven and demonstrated leadership as this role manage an Assistant Finance Business Partner
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
