The reason for this role:
The Finance Coordinator is accountable to the Acquisition and Development Manager for the establishment, operation and maintenance of financial and document control systems used for the management of the Acquisitions and Development department, and projects under ownership of Goldwind Australia.
What you will be doing?
- Assist Project Development Manager’s and wider Project Teams in all aspects of Project Control.
- Project Controls shall include (but not limited to); Contract Administration, Correspondence Management, Document Management, Financial Administration and Project reporting.
- Collaborate with other staff in the development of Project systems.
- Project Reporting such as, monitor and report departmental and project KPI’s, project risks and contribute to / compile project and departmental reports as required.
- Assist the Acquisitions and Development Manager in the establishment and operation of the project control systems required to manage the department and Goldwind’s interest in projects.
- Record and track departmental and project budgets, ensuring costs remain within budget and report on cost / forecast cost against budget.
- Control documentation, such as, department processes, budgets and approvals, business cases, key project documents and risk matrices.
What does your background look like?
- Qualification in Accounting / Finance or Business-related fields.
- Experience in Contract Management, Cost Control, Document Management, Project Management within the Wind / Power / Construction industry is highly regarded.
- Experience in development (pre-construction) phase of projects and Contract Administration of Supplier Contracts and Consultancy Agreementsm would be highly regarded.
- Experience in Project Controls, Cost Management, Information Management Systems and Project Office operations.
- Good understanding of contracts, schedules, documentation management, financial administration.
- Good computer skills including good understanding of Microsoft Office and MYOB.
- Ability to work effectively across departments and in an Australia/China cross cultural environment.
- Please note this role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
