A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Commercial Finance team - Technology as a Finance Data Analyst for six month fixed term contract.

A role you will love
The Finance Data Analyst will report to the Lead Commercial Finance Business Partner, CTS, and will be responsible for maintaining, delivering and improving analytical processes that support senior management by providing clear insights to inform decisions and drive the future long-term performance of the business.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Leverage a variety of internal and external data sources to undertake a broad range of analyses covering key aspects of our business
- Create and maintain financial models to facilitate the above analyses including data extraction and cleansing
- Interpret the completed analysis and identify the key findings
- Monitor the actual performance of new initiatives, products, or investments against the original analysis and modelling to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Recommend ways in which analysis can be standardised and simplified across regions and business units in order to deliver more efficiently
- Support the Commercial Finance Director, Lead Finance Business Partner and technology Project Managers with driving forward various projects and cost saving initiatives
What will you bring to the role?
As you've probably gathered by now, we are looking for someone with a real passion for finance; a proven ability to understand and convey business priorities, influence, and gain leadership commitment to achieve the best outcome.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Minimum 2 years of financial and analytical experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent
- Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with stakeholders across different business units and locations
- Advanced Excel skills with modelling experience and proficient in PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt quickly to our fast-paced and changing environment
- Expert at problem solving and critical thinking
Preferred but not essential:
- CFA or appetite to study for CFA qualification would be encouraged
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or local equivalent) would also be relevant
- ERP (Oracle, SAP, Workday, other) experience
