Purpose of the role
This is a great opportunity for a passionate Data Insights Analyst to join our Analytics & Insights team. You’ll be working alongside other talented Analysts and Engineers with the latest cloud tooling and technology to develop, maintain and further enhance NGM Group’s data analytics capabilities.

What will your key responsibilities include?
- Deliver the full data life-cycle including, requirements analysis, solution design, development of analytics and reporting solutions, and ongoing support of developed solutions,
- Assist in the design, building and distribution of a group wide reporting ecosystem,
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather and analyse user requirements for reporting and data analytics solutions,
- Design and automate analytics solutions, develop interactive metrics and dashboards,
- Provide data analytical support to all areas of the business including communication of complex analytical concepts to people from non-technical teams,
- Use data and analytics to optimise our stakeholder experience, reduce risk and costs,
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be an analytical and critical thinker who enjoys designing solutions to meet business objectives. Your highly developed communication skills paired with demonstrated facilitation and elicitation skills will be critical to your success in this role. You are an enthusiastic self-starter who is a team player with excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The required experience and skills are:
- Solid experience as a Data Analyst (or similar) coupled with a degree in a relevant field (e.g. computer science, applied statistics or a related quantitative discipline),
- Aptitude in understanding and developing SQL queries to extract, manipulate and analyse data,
- Experience in developing report, dashboard and data analytics solutions from a Data Warehouse and business source system databases using tools like Power BI, SSRS or Google Looker,
- Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts,
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders, gather and analyse user requirements to develop solutions,
- Demonstrated ability to document, maintain and communicate technical designs,
Desirable experience and skills include;
- Experience in financial Services, in particular retail banking,
- Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure & Power Platform, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks or Snowflake,
- Knowledge of, and experience using the Microsoft cloud and on-premises data stack, and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python,
