About the role:
We are seeking a high-calibre Graduate Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As a part of our data analytics team, this role will be centred around analysing and interpreting operational data as well as navigating systems and infrastructure for reporting and dashboarding purposes. You will liaise directly with stakeholders to understand organisational reporting needs and contribute directly to the success and growth of our portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across various investment portfolios.
- Construct detailed PowerBi reports that merge data from several systems as well as clean and structure source data into a presentable format.
- Collaborate with the investment team to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analytics and reporting tasks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Statistics, or a related field. Related experience in Commerce, Finance, or other related fields will be highly regarded, however, not essential for a successful candidate.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to tackle problems systematically.
- Proficient in Excel; supporting skillsets across data analysis and related programming languages (SQL, Python) will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex data insights clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
