We are seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our Financial Statements and Policy Services branch within our ATO Finance business area.
As a Finance Director (Financial statements technical), you will lead and a manage team responsible for the delivery of the ATO's monthly and annual Financial statements. You'll provide technical leadership and support your team in the resolution of complex financial accounting matters.
You will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team and across the ATO. You'll engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders including senior executives and other government agencies.
You will ensure compliance with relevant legislation and accounting standards, managing risks and issues that arise. You'll develop and implement initiatives to enhance our internal financial reporting processes and capability.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Albury, Brisbane CBD, Canberra or Melbourne CBD.
