We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to lead the Finance function in Oceania. This position plays an instrumental role overseeing Accounting, Internal Control and FP&A functions by managing all aspects of finance operations, compliance, taxes, treasury, key projects and initiatives.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Group, statutory and tax reporting
- Responsible for statutory and Group records, in compliance with Group (IFRS) and local accounting standards.
- Coordinate and follow up local tax matters, and international tax agreements.
- Manage the partnership with local banks and ensure mid- and long-term visibility to anticipate cash situation and financing needs.
Business support
- Be a strategic partner to both Maisons and Richemont functions to drive sustainable growth and achieve company financial objectives.
- Analyse financial performance, prepare short- and medium-term business plans.
- Build a strong and permanent communication flow with local, regional and Group stake holders, to ensure transparency and visibility.
Finance Operations
- Ensure effective and efficient finance operations by building and managing a highly structured and process-driven accounting function.
- Drive consistently accounting process optimization and improvement.
- Build a strong retail back office backbone to support retail operations and ensure compliance in all transactions.
Internal Control and Compliance
- Maintain the internal control and risk mitigation framework, processes, and policies to ensure high level of compliance.
- Manage relationship with auditors (internal and external).
- Participate and animate the local Compliance Committee.
Team management
- Assess, manage and develop through an effective performance management process, including clear definition of roles and responsibilities, expectations and objectives.
- Define and actively manage succession and individual development plans while ensuring permanent alignment of resources with business needs.
- Inspire, animate and coach the team, strongly promote cross-functional activities and communication.
- According to business growth, build over time a strong local planning / controlling team.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Degree in Finance or similar, CPA or comparable qualification
- Minimum of 15 years of functional experience, of which +/- 5 years in a similar management position with an international company.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, comfortable to deal with all levels of people
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to influence stakeholders
- Developed organisational skills, familiar with finance-related systems and project management
- Highly agile to work in a complex environment and able to deal with ambiguity
- Independent, mature and self-motivated, demonstrating a proactive and “can-do” attitude
- Analytical and detail-minded but with good global view
- Good knowledge of International Accounting Standards and SOX, exposure to Australia / New Zealand statutory accounting and tax regulations is an advantage.
