As part of the Finance Transformation program, this role is responsible for supporting the design of Dynamics 365 – Finance.
Reporting to the Finance Transformation Program Manager, and working closely with the project team, business stakeholders and vendor partners, this role will provide support and guidance to ensure processes and technology drive the required efficiency, simplification, standardisation, and consolidation to achieve business benefits.
Expectations:
- Provide functional and technical leadership and guidance throughout planning, designing, building, testing, and implementing Dynamics 365 Finance solution.
- Drive collaboration to ensure effective execution of solution design and other activities.
- Govern Dynamics 365 system design by managing relationships with project team, business stakeholder and vendor partners.
- Work with key stakeholders across business to develop optimised Dynamics 365 processes that suit business requirements, meet timelines, ensure quality and meet budget
- Analyse business processes, provide technical guidance, solutions and re-engineering as required
- Escalate issues, risks and decisions to the Program Manager
- Assist others in understanding the financial systems current and future state, including how key decisions assist the Group to deliver on it’s strategic vision
- Support the change management team with impact assessment and training material development and delivery where required
- Support the organisation’s compliance with internal policies, procedures and compliance
- Contribute to the monitoring and assessment of risks to guide mitigation and effective management
- Provide support and advice to the Data and BI team on financial reporting
Essential Skills :
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance or similar
- Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 – specifically in Finance
- Exceptional technical skills gained across multiple ERP projects
- +5 years experience in finance, preferably with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable and reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
- Ability to convey a strong presence, professional image, and deal confidently with complex technical problems
- Customer focused, sense of urgency, strong teamwork, flexible and positive ‘can do’ approach
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial regulations and best practices
- Good at problem solving and conflict resolution
