THE POSITION:
Our high performing sales team is looking to recruit a highly capable, finance and insurance sales professional to join the team in what is a critical role, contributing to our overall success.
Working as part of the sales team and reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, this is a key role tasked with working collaboratively with our vehicle and car-care sales consultants to facilitate the promotion and sale of a variety of finance and insurance products to our customers.
We're looking for a well presented, success driven, candidate who possesses exceptional time management skills and a proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
For the right candidate, who has a strong work ethic and drive to achieve department financial targets, this position offers a high income potential.
KEY ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE:
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience through the sale of finance and insurance products, as an integral part of the sales process
- Working closely with managers and sales staff to drive the overall sales performance and increase income from the finance and insurance department
- Drive and follow the dealership process to monitor and maximise all sales leads to achieve high conversions and sales rates
- Working with customers to establish their needs and professionally present all applicable financing options to 100% of our prospective customers
- Prepare and submit all financial applications and liaise with a suitable lender to achieve swift and positive customer outcomes
- Build strong ongoing customer relationships
- Develop knowledge of our brands, products & services
- Reporting to senior management on results and forecasts within the finance department
OUR SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Proven experience in a similar finance or sales role is essential, with previous dealership experience considered an advantage
- Strong negotiation, influencing and closing skills
- An energetic and ambitious work ethic
- The drive to achieve monthly sales volumes
- High attention to detail
- An eagerness to learn and adapt new processes, with a commitment to maximising the benefits of available systems and processes
- A high level of personal presentation, including exceptional communication skills - written and verbal
- A commitment to providing superior customer service
- Availability to work a 5 day week, including some Saturdays on a rotating roster
