The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will oversee the performance of a key division. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver monthly financial and management reporting, analysing actuals against budget.
- Manage a team of four finance and admin staff to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Oversee accounts receivable and stock control functions, incorporating monthly stock audits for accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR, Insurance, and Commercial matters, showcasing versatility in handling diverse responsibilities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the GM, Operations Manager, and Heads of Departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the provision of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) responsibilities, including chairing Safety Committee meetings for a comprehensive approach to workplace safety.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls and related processes at all times, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining financial integrity and compliance.
- CA/CPA qualified
- 5+ years' experience managing staff & engaging with non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Exposure to the retail or building supplies sectors;
- Highly organised and have great time management skills; and
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- $120,000 plus superannuation + car allowance
