AddressCommunity focused organisation located in Gosford on the Central Coast, is looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager with expertise gained in the NDIS sector.

Reporting directly to the CEO of the organisation you will be responsible for demonstrating financial leadership as you take on the responsibility for the financial operations of the organisation.
Leading a team of 3 you will be responsible for maintaining the overall financial operations of the organisation.
Specifically your role will include the following:
- Leading and supervising the workload of the accounts team, which comprises of an Assistant Accountant, Finance Clerk and Payroll Officer.
- Support the leadership team to manage financial aspects of their business units
- Develop financial information for the CEO and Board as required
- Preparing financial reports
- Develop budgets across revenue streams
- Interpreting financial information and recommending solutions
- Setting, reviewing and managing budgets
- Advising on investment strategy
- Oversee improvement of financial internal controls
- Support the operation through financial management
- Optimise management of the debtors and creditors ledgers
- Manage the annual general insurance and workers compensation policy renewals
- Establish and manage service agreements with external contactors
- End of year reconciliations
- Monitor NDIS funding relevant to participants plans
- Align all financial practices within the requirement of relevant laws, standards, regulations and guidelines including:
- Australian Accounting Standards
- NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
- NDIS Practice Standards
- Disability Discrimination Act 1992
- Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Disability Inclusion Regulation 201
To be successful in acquiring this role you need the following skills and attributes:
- Experience gained within the NDIS sector or Not for Profit sector
- CPA qualified
- Proven leadership experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Proficiency in Flowlogic Client Management Systems
