Reporting to the CFO, this role will oversee the finance team, provide hands on support to the payroll function, and be accountable for financial management reporting and statutory compliance.
Duties will include:
- Support Payroll Delivery – AUS/NZ (1500-2000 casual employees)
- Interpretation of awards and agreements
- Accounting aspects including auditing and reconciliations
- Managing the company’s financial systems
- Strict Debtor management
- Cash Management
- Statutory Taxation submissions
- Management Reporting
- Month-end process including General Ledger and Balance sheet Reconciliations, and the production of the P&L statements
- Work with the CFO to manage projects that impact on the business
Essential skills for this role:
- Thrive in a fast paced environment
- Extensive Payroll Experience including award interpretations and complex payroll calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident dealing with senior stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages – FastTrack advantageous
- Professional accounting qualifications
