Melbourne, AustraliaCompany: Singtel GroupIt starts with YES!At Optus, we have an ambitious goal to be Australia's most loved everyday brand.As part of a high performing team, this role will live the Billing and Credit purpose - We onboard and retain our customers efficiently whilst delivering a timely, simple, accurate billing and payments experience- in supporting the Optus vision.The Collection Manager - Enterprise and Mid-Market will manage and enhance a robust credit management matrix that ensures cash collections are maximised and credit risk is mitigated, and that there is transparency across the business regarding collections performance. A key focus of the role is managing dispute resolution through driving a robust and consistent framework to ensure that debt is not adversely impacted.Your day in the life at Optus

• Provide strong leadership to both direct and indirect people to create a culture of commitment for the team responsible for the Enterprise and Mid-Market portfolios.
• Ensure all financial metrics, as agreed with Customer Payment Support, for all portfolios under management are met
• Manage and enhance a robust credit management matrix that ensures cash collections are maximized and credit risk is mitigated, and that there is transparency across the business regarding our Credit & Collections performance
• Build strong business relationships across a diverse group of parties, both internally and externally. These groups include Legal, Regulatory, Treasury, Finance, Customer Relations, Care & Billing and Credit

Your skills to pay the bills

• Strong experience in a Leadership Role/People Leader Role
• Demonstrated experience in a Collections Role/ Contact Centre
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills
• Strong organizational skills, experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Exceptional communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
