About the role
The Finance Manager leads the Management Accounting, Financial Reporting and Payroll teams, to deliver a client focused approach in the provision of financial management; including the preparation, monitoring and analysis of budgets, forecasts and actuals, for the TAC and its subsidiaries.
The role is responsible for working in partnership with key stakeholders in an advisory and analytical capacity, providing expert financial advice to all levels of management across the TAC.
The role also supports the Director of Finance and Procurement, in the preparation of the TAC’s Annual Report and Operating Budget.
About the Team
This role sits within the Finance and Procurement branch, in the Finance and Governance division at the TAC. This division ensures that the TAC is financially sustainable, efficient and is governed effectively.
You will be joining a supportive, encouraging and collaborative team, who are always willing to assist one another. You will report directly to the Director of Finance and Procurement, who will provide support and encouragement, whilst giving you the space you need to make the role your own.
What we’re looking for
Experience in a financial and/or management accounting leadership role
Tertiary qualification in accounting, supported by membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia
Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
