Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, information technology (IT), or related field required; CA or CPA certification preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 7 years in progressively senior roles within financial analysis, strategic planning, or corporate finance.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI or similar business intelligence (BI) tools is advantageous.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Lead and oversee in-depth financial analysis and reporting to support key stakeholders in making informed and calculated operational decisions.
- Review existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with appropriate accounting standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication with auditors, providing timely access to relevant documentation, answering inquiries, and addressing any audit findings or concerns promptly and accurately.
- Manage a team of bookkeepers responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
