Management Accountant (Manufacturing)

about the companyThe company is a successful business that is the pride of South Australia, starting in the 1980s and becoming one of our most beloved home-grown brands.about the jobIn this role you will prepare and consolidate monthly management reports, as well as prepare various weekly management reports including short supply, production and labour costs. You will manage inventory movements, adjustments and write-offs in conjunction with Production and Sales. In addition, you will manage the month-end accounting close process, plus review and reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. You will also assist in the preparation of annual company and departmental budgets, forecasts and monitoring of performance to targets. You will have to manage all payroll journals and preparation of on-costs (superannuation, payroll tax and Workcover).about the manager/teamYou will report to the General Manager of Finance, while also supervising an 2 Accounts Officers.skills & requirements for the jobYou should possess a relevant accounting degree with a CPA/CA qualifications, or at least in the process of obtaining your CPA. This role suits somebody with advanced ERP and Excel skills and a high level of attention to details.
