Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, the Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing financial activities, analysing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standard. You will work closely with Senior Leadership to ensure new initiatives can be delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial management, and statutory accounts preparation
- Supervision of invoicing, cash disbursements, and bank transactions
- Annual statutory audit oversight
- Monitoring and contributing to accounts payable and receivable procedures
- Ensuring adherence to tax regulations and accounting standards
- Collaboration with personnel throughout the company to aid in accounting, procurement, and payment processes
- Tax Returns preparation, including FBT and monthly BAS filings
- Management of supply chain activities, from procurement to payment
- Implementation of rigorous checks and controls within finance and accounting, including reconciliations, reviews, duty segregation, and training
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA or CPA
- Proven experience (5+ years) working as a financial accountant. Experience leading teams is desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Detail-oriented approach with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
