Finance Manager

With excess of 100 staff across Australia, this highly successful supply chain & manufacturing business operates in 27 countries and growing. With almost 50 years of trading and well-established long-term leaders, this conglomerate has made recent acquisitions to further bolster its bottom line. 
Due to current and predicted growth, we are looking to recruit a Finance Manager.
The role supporting the Head of Finance, you will get involved in numerous weekly and monthly reporting requirements for various entities, lead key automation projects and be heavily involved with stakeholders both at corporate offices and sites across Australia.   
It is envisaged that you will immerse yourself in understanding operations and work extensively with non-finance stakeholders internally and externally. 
Through harnessing BI tools and various other software packages you will lead a team of 4 and undertake the following key duties: -   

• Part of the senior leadership team, reporting to the Head of Finance; 
• Lead & manage a small hands-on team overseeing daily & weekly tasks;
• Develop more sophisticated operational and financial reports including in-depth analysis of business drivers & potential improvements; 
• Create and implement relevant commercial dashboards to better understand margins;
•  Drive systems changes and improvements to future prove business growth;
• Work with and influence the leadership team for establish real time insights
• Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Head of Finance

  
About You
We are ideally seeking CA/ CPA commercial focused Finance Manager with high energy, strong drive and commitment to a role.  
You will have proven management experience (even a small team), the ability to influence and flourish at an ELT level, enjoy working in a high-performing team and be keen to utilise your commercial acumen to support future strategy and decision making.
  
Advanced systems skills are a given, along with BI skills to further enhance a robust reporting culture. Success requires a superior work ethic, with a commitment to being in the office.
