AddressWill see you employed in a permanent full-time capacity as a Finance Manager within this Queensland based building and construction company. Reporting the company director, this role will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our business, including al construction projects.
YOUR Experience
As an experience Finance Manager within the construction field, you will have a strong understanding of accounting principles including appropriate university qualifications, ideally with CPA qualifications.
In addition, you will have experience in
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements for construction projects.
- Generate reports detailing project financial performance, including variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets.
- Monitor project costs and revenue projections.
- Provide accurate forecasting to support decision-making processes.
- Cost Control:
- Implement cost control measures to optimise project profitability.
- Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Conduct regular cost reviews and analysis to identify trends and deviations.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage project cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
- Coordinate with accounting teams to streamline invoicing and payment processes.
- Financial Risk Management:
- Assess financial risks associated with construction projects.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and safeguard project finances.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and market trends impacting financial risk.
