Finance Manager

The company:

This a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant or Management Accountant to take the next step in their career and join a collaborative team in a 6-month role as a Finance Manager.

The role:
* Manage and supervise a team of 3, providing guidance and mentorship.
* Coordinate and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
* Lead the finance function, overseeing comprehensive financial processes, systems, and analyses.
* Collaborate with external partners to prepare accounts for the annual audit.
* Collaborate with the UK-based team to provide financial and analytical support
* Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial and management reporting
* Partner with internal stakeholders for preparation of forecasts, budgets, reporting and financial accountability
* Manage and oversee the cash flow of the company, ensuring accuracy.
* Assess opportunities to reduce outsourcing input and costs.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements, including ATO and State Revenue Office.

About you:
* 5+ years' experience in an Senior Accountant role
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
* Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
* Bachelor's degree with an Accounting or Finance major
* CPA/CA qualified or working towards qualification
