About the CompanyWe are partnering with an international technology firm that is recruiting for an experienced
Payroll Manager. Based in their Melbourne CBD office, this role works closely with the wider HR team based in Canberra. The key stakeholders are largely based in Melbourne and the role will be working closely with Finance, HR, Payments and Reporting.
About the roleReporting to the GM of Finance, this a mixed role of operational and strategic running a fortnightly and monthly payroll of c100 but also looking at process improvement.
Responsibilities include:- Review and authorise Monthly/Fortnightly payroll – Japan, Germany, UK, Netherlands, & the US.
- Payroll reconciliation and journal posting including Leave provisioning
- Act as main point of contract for all payroll related queries
- Updating health care, pensions and insurance policies and premium
- Managing and approving Parental leave and GPPL
- Reviewing timesheets and leave applications
- Performing monthly leave audit
- Validating STI bonuses
- Calculating and processing Shares Taxes adjustment and reporting for all countries
- Supporting the Tax Manager when registering new entities and lodging new state tax and insurances
- Support on Projects
About you- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Confident people manager and enjoy adapting and learning
- Must be able to hit the ground running and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders through your strong communication skills and seek to find solutions to support business needs
- Enjoy improving processes and have a keen attention to detail, coming up with solutions to support best practice
