Seeking a skilled and motivated Finance/Invoicing Manager to join our dynamic team in the fast-paced and ever-evolving field of freight brokerage, transport, and logistics. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial management within the logistics industry, ensuring accurate invoicing, efficient billing procedures, and compliance with industry regulations. They will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial stability while contributing to the overall success of our freight and logistics operations. 

Invoicing, Billing and Financial Transactions:

• Generate precise, timely invoices for freight services.
• Coordinate with logistics teams for accurate billing.
• Optimise billing procedures for enhanced efficiency.
• Oversee financial transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments.
• Process refunds, adjustments, and credit notes in industry compliance.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

• Prepare and analyse reports for logistics operations.
• Contribute insights on financial performance and industry trends.
• Assist in reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with freight and logistics regulations. 
• Stay updated on financial regulations, making necessary adjustments.

Cash Flow Management and Budgeting:

• Manage cash flow for logistics operations.
• Collaborate on forecasting and planning for financial needs .
• Collaborate on budgets for freight and logistics.
• Recommend cost-saving measures.

Industry Knowledge and Leadership:

• Understand freight, transport, and logistics industry dynamics.
• Familiar with financial challenges and opportunities.
• Proven leadership and experience as a Finance Manager.
• Proactive with a track record of driving process improvements.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is advantageous.

• Must have transport, logistics and freight industry experience
• Expertise in invoicing and financial management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Guide junior finance staff in logistics.
• Analytical, Excel proficient, excellent communication.
