About the Role
The Finance Manager - Corporate Services will play a crucial role in ensuring the achievement of Lutheran Services' strategic objectives by providing high-quality analysis and insights into organisational performance and effectively managing cash through the treasury function.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate the organisation's audit and compliance processes
- Produce monthly financial accounting, management reporting, and analysis
- Assist with the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets
- Manage liquidity and treasury function, including investment reviews and cash flow forecasting
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of transactional and accounting processes
- Provide guidance and advice on accounting-related matters
- Support financial modelling, activity costing, and performance monitoring
- Effectively manage and supervise the Financial Accountant
This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
About You
We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Manager with a tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Accounting, along with CA or CPA qualification. You should have at least 10 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting & analysis, external audits, and budgeting & forecasting. Advanced Excel skills and exposure to complex ERP and reporting systems are also required.
In addition, you should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels, and a proven ability to manage staff. A valid Police Check is also required.
