About this opportunity
The Finance Officer is responsible for performing a variety of duties to manage the financial administration of the National office.
This includes accounts payables, accounts receivables, and bank reconciliation. This position also provides support to the network of corporate offices and franchise offices regarding transactional tasks and system enquiries.
Based in our Toowong office, this opportunity calls for someone with a background working in finance with strong communication and administrative skills.
In this role you will:
- Provide Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities including volume data entry, invoice approval, preparation of payment runs, sending of remittance and statement reconciliation.
- Reconcile GL accounts such as AR, AP and Bank.
- Manage ageing debtors and creditors to ensure all invoices are received/paid within appropriate timeframes.
- Administer employee expense claims and employee credit cards.
- Support month end activities.
- Provide any additional ad hoc support as directed by the Finance Manager.
- Support other Finance Officers.
- Process improvements in alignment with the Finance Manager.
About you
- Demonstrated experience in a finance role.
- Relevant accounting, finance, or related qualification advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
- Experience using Reckon, NetSuite or similar ERPs is highly desirable.
- A connecting, skilled team player with an eye for operational excellence in a rapidly growing organization
- Strong customer service skills with a flexible approach
