Established in 1997 Colbar QSR is a successful contract manufacturing business for a number of high-profile brands. This is a maternity leave cover role for approximately 12-15 months with a possibility of becoming permanent.
Specific area of responsibility:
- End to end Payroll processing (weekly and monthly) for approximately 30 staff.
- Superannuation, Payroll tax and Union fee reporting and payment.
- Entering new and maintaining employee records.
- Provide support to employees with payroll and related queries.
- Bank reconciliation for multiple accounts and Credit cards.
- Full function accounts payable (matching and entering supplier invoices, setting up weekly EFT payment runs, reconciling supplier statements).
- Full function accounts receivable (Issuing invoices and credits, reconciliation of customer accounts, collection of overdue accounts, setting up new customers and completing credit checks).
- Reconciliation, preparation, and lodgement of IAS and BAS.
- Assisting external accountants with end of year requirements.
- Preparing cashflow reports and monthly forecast.
- Reconciling Loscam and CHEP pallet accounts
- Organising delivery of finished goods
- Other administrative duties
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Excellent computer skill including good excel spreadsheet skills.
- High standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Accounting or bookkeeping qualification.
- Experience with Reckon (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience with Fishbowl (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience with Freight management (advantageous but not essential)
- Have a positive attitude to teamwork and be adaptable to change.
