About the role
We are looking for a Finance Officer who has a high attention to detail and wants to be a proactive member of a cohesive finance team. This is a multi-faceted role and will cover a variety of fiancial and administrative functions.
What will this look like on a day to day basis?
You will be:
- Assisting with bank reconciliations, posting journal entries and maintaining records;
- Completing accounts payable tasks, inlcuding processing purchase requisistions, purchase orders and paying invoices in line with service agreements;
- Completing accounts receivable tasks, including creating and recording invoices;
- Responding to client finance queries and taking credit card payments over the phone;
- Answering incoming calls to the finance team, providing accurate and timely advice;
- Undertaking financial data entry and maintaining spreadsheets;
- Assisting with other administration tasks within the finance team;

What skills and experience do you need to be a Finance Officer?
This position is best suited to someone who:
- Has demonstrated experience and understanding of accounts payable and/or receivable;
- Has exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders;
- Possesses excellent time management and prioritisation skills with a high attention to detail;
- Has the ability to promptly respond and proactively solve problems;
- Is experienced with MS Office applications, especially Excel; and
- Has great dedication to learn and grow within the role, using their initiative and contributing positive energy to the team.
- Has or is currently obtaining a finance-related qualification (desirable)
- Experience in the aged care sector (desirable).
