Toner Group with a rich history of more than 20 years is one of Melbourne’s leading multi trade services companies providing plumbing, drainage, roofing, and electrical trade services into the Residential (New Build), Commercial, Facility & Property Management and Insurance markets. Based out of our Narre Warren head office reporting to the GM Finance & Administration we are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Finance Officer.
Key accountabilities include:
Accounts Payable:
- Obtain authorisation according to DOA for invoice processing.
- Check PO and process supplier invoices.
- Follow up and reconcile Accounts Payable statements every month.
- Answering supplier queries.
- Answer subcontractor and vendor queries.
- Process weekly Accounts Payable payment run.
- Manage business subscriptions.
- Fill out credit application forms.
- Maintain supplier setup.
Accounts Receivable:
- Coordinate invoicing, perform system reconciliation and collect overdue accounts.
- Support division managers with accounts related matters.
- Obtain authorisation according to DOA for customer credit notes processing.
- Processing customer credits.
- Collaborate with division managers to investigate any customer queries.
- Maintain customers setup.
Other duties:
- Manage accounts inbox.
- Daily bank reconciliation.
- Debit/Credit card reconciliation.
- Daily system integration.
- Administration and miscellaneous tasks as requested.

The ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable and/or receivable essential.
- Experience working with Xero in accounts receivable, payable and bank reconciliation modules.
- Understand P2P and Q2C process and comfortable with general ledger codes.
- Prior experience working with cloud-based job management systems.
- Advanced computer skills and adaptive to cloud based business software.
- Excellent communication and time management skills and attention to detail.
