About the Role
This role combines the function of the Accounts Officer and the Fleet Coordinator. As the Finance Officer, you will support the processes of the finance function. The purpose of the Fleet Coordinator is to ensure the logistics, cost and insurances of our fleet are coordinated smoothly and efficiently across the organisation.
This will be offered on a permanent, full-time basis, at our Midland location.
As a Finance Officer – Fleet Coordination, your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Assist with managing the financial accounts, activities and records for the organisation.
- Assist with Accounts Payable processing.
- Assist with developing and managing the fleet budget, including working with the Manager Finance to forecast costs and ensure fleet viability, track expenses, and identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
- Monitor driver behaviour and performance to ensure safe and efficient operation of vehicles. Be solution driven when solving issues in relation to fleet, ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided to our staff as part of the service support team.
- Review, develop and implement policies and procedures for fleet that are fit for purpose and user friendly for staff.
- Accounts Receivable processing and debt collection.
In order to be successful for this role, the applicant will have:
- Formal qualifications in Bookkeeping / Accounting and Fleet Management
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to be able to work well with others, communicate clearly and have sound written skills.
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy principles.
- Financial management skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
