About the Role
Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
• Preparing fortnightly payroll and ensure accuracy in processing.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
• Maintaining cash flow records and assist with month-end close procedures.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as the CFO, Financial Accountant, Finance Manager and Divisional managers.
• Interacting with external stakeholders including customers, debtors, suppliers and banking personnel.
Additional duties Include:
• Assisting with payroll preparation and processing.
• Managing debtor invoices and vendor invoice processing.
• Reconciling and allocating banking transactions.
• Maintaining debtor master file records and following up on outstanding accounts.
• Reviewing and closing end-of-month transactions.
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and payroll processing systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Completion of an Accounting degree, certificate, or diploma is desirable.
