Goolburri Regional Housing Co Ltd is a First Nations company that provides housing to First Nations people who are disadvantaged by the market.
We are seeking a suitable applicant for a full-time Finance Officer position for an immediate start.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Fortnightly payroll
- Banking and reconciliations
- BAS, PAYG, Workcover, preparation, reporting and lodgment
- Assist with cashflow and budgeting
- End of month reporting
- EOFY reporting
- Minute taking
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience with accounting software QuickBooks and Reckon preferred
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
- Accounts experience
- Payroll experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, responsibly and meet deadlines as part of a team
- Excellent Work Ethic, Positive Attitude and Reliable Attendance
Benefits you will receive:
- Ability to salary package up to $14,040.00 p.a
- Ability to work hours over a nine-day fortnight
