The Role
As a Finance / Practice Manager of a National Law Firm, your duties include bank reconciliations (general and trust accounts); processing fortnightly payroll including STP, Superannuation and Payroll tax; monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparing cyclical and ad hoc financial reports, including cash flow ; processing new starter documentation, including bank details, superannuation choice and tax declarations; calculating employee entitlements and incremental salary changes for scheduled review activities, preparation and lodgement of BAS, managing compliance and reporting responsibilities, trust accounting, providing support to the Directors with ad hoc reporting and other tasks. You will also oversee the staff, do recruitment of staff and some basic IT support.
You
You will have a minimum of 5 years Finance Management and Practice Management experience within a law firm environment. Trust accounting experience is also essential.
The Law Firm / Salary
National mid tier law firm of 30 staff. Supportive and a social firm. Offer employee benefits such as induction program, birthday leave, service awards. Also offer wfh of 1,2 days a week. Salary negotiable, dependent upon experience (between $100,000 - $130,000 plus Super).
