The Financial Accountant is responsible for contributing to the delivery of financial reporting, financial accounting and management accounting solutions.
You will also be assisting the business in financial analysis to resolve items identified and devise sustainable financial solutions for the organization.
Key activities of this role include:
· Full function ownership of Accounts Receivable & Payable
· Facilitating Payment Runs
· Reconciliations - General Ledger, Bank Reconciliations, Supplier Statements
· Preparing Month End - Posting Journals, Balance Sheet & P&L's
· Preparing GST, BAS and FBT
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or similar
- CPA / CA advantageous, though not essential
- Accounting experience - Public Practice or Commercial
- Proficient level of Excel
- Excellent communication, business partnering, problem solving skills
