The Role:
As the Financial Accountant, you will be reporting to the Regional Financial Controller and be responsible for all Financials for this division including reporting, budgeting and monthly forecasting. As the Financial Accountant you will be a crucial part of the team, ensuring delivery of deadlines, managing internal and external audits and providing end to end Financial Support.
This position will be offered on a 6-month temporary basis, commencing September 2024
The Responsibilities:
- Manage the regional monthly reporting calendar
- Manage reporting costs
- Monthly review of the general ledger balance sheet
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, and required journals have been maintained
- Manage the internal and external audit processes
- Assist with the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Support the annual FBT return process
- Support the subcontractor financial review process
- General Financial tasks as required to assist the regional and global finance team(s)

The Requirements:
To be successful in this position you must possess:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Strong proven experience in a similar role
- Exceptional knowledge and attention to detail across financial reporting
- Knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
