Financial Accountant

This 'one of a kind' manufacturing organisation based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their highly successful team. This permanent role will report to the Financial Controller and be part of a highly successful team.  

You will be an experienced Financial Accountant looking for your next challenge ready to join a supportive yet complex environment. You will ideally live in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne and be seeking a role close to home with access via train or parking provided. You will support the wider Finance team with responsibilities including:

• Assisting with month end reporting, analysis and reconciliations, financial schedules and commentary;
• Assisting with the monthly cashflow forecasts and analysis;
• Track and report on CAPEX;
• Assisting with Financial Year end statutory accounts;
• Assisting with P&L and Balance Sheet;
• Bank reconciliations 
• Assisting with preparation and filing of income tax returns; 

In order to be considered for this position you will be CA/CPA qualified or studying toward, have a proven background in supporting a complex Finance team and have advanced Excel skills including ERP exposure.

Some flexibility can be considered for this role down the track.
