The Opportunity
To support our ongoing growth, BGER is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Perth based Finance team. We have an extensive and continually growing client base and a number of exciting upcoming projects. Our Finance team is critical in supporting our business needs as we expand the services we provide to our clients.
The Role
Role responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the annual audit process
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Preparation of annual income tax return
- Preparation of annual fringe benefits tax return
- Payroll preparation and compliance (PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll tax)
- GST preparation and compliance (BAS)
- Cashflow reporting
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Prepare month end packs
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
About you
Our ideal candidate is a motivated and self-driven Financial Accountant with demonstrated successful previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an Engineering environment. You will be a dedicated individual who thrives on a working in a team to deliver detailed and high quality work and outcomes.
ERP system implementation experience is preferrable but not essential.
