Overview of the job
We are looking for an Accountant with Business Services experience to join our busy office.
Reporting of the role
This role reports to the Senior Managers and Directors
Responsibilities of the role (including, not limited to)
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trust and SMSF
Assist with client business advisory including GST, FBT, Div 7A and CGT matters
Preparation and maintenance of client's financial records
Liaise with ATO
Preparation of various IAS, BAS and FBT returns
What you will need
Bachelors Degree in an accounting related field of study and ideally studying towards CA or CPA qualification
At least 2 years of experience within a business services environment
Accuracy and high level of attention to detail
The ability to juggle numerous tasks with ease whilst working in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
Ability to work autonomously as a committed member of the professional services team
Exceptional presentation and organisational skills and a professional attitude
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero, MYOB and Class Super or BGL
Exceptional communication skills
