Based close to Sydney's Inner West Suburbs, this growing FMCG business is recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team. Over the last few years, they have seen 20% growth year-on-year, and are in a fantastic position financially. They are a dynamic team, and want the right candidate to have the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the financial compliance, cash flow, funds and tax management, debtors, creditors, fixed assets and other administrative aspects of the Company's operations and supporting the administrative, accounting and financial planning of the Company.
Main duties:
- Tax preparation and lodgment: BAS (GST), FBT, Payroll Tax, PAYG
- Accounts payable and receivables support
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Bank reconciliations
- Cash forecasting
- Month end accruals and journals
- Payroll journals and labour reporting
- Fixed asset and capex maintenance
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly P&L and balance sheet analysis
What you'll need to succeed
- CPA/CA qualified
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience with MS Office preferred
- Experience with an ERP, MS Business Central, highly desirable
- 2+ years post-qualification experience
