In this role you participate in and ensure the completion and delivery of accurate accounting and financial information to support effective decision making by the business.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will get to build key relationships with the CFO, General Managers and Operations teams.
The role looks like this:
- Prepare month ending journals and accruals to ensure all costs are accurately captured for the purposes of monthly Board reporting
- Managing and maintaining the fixed asset register and preparing related CAPEX management reporting
- Participate in the preparation of reports including, P&L balance sheets and variance analysis
- Collate all required Board reports for inclusion in monthly Board pack
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
- Liaise with external auditors in completion of financial statements
- Assist in the preparation of company expenditure budget
- Prepare management analysis of performance against budget
What you can bring to the role:
- Degree in Accounting
- CPA/CA Qualification or nearing completion
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP is preferable
- Experience with BW (SAP data warehouse) is preferable
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Refined time management skills
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Refined written and verbal communication skills
