WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking an Accountant, on part-time flexible hours (between 12 - 20 hours per week), to be part of our small but busy Finance department working at our head office in Keysborough.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CFO, your key responsibilities will include:
- Monthly general ledger reconciliations
- The preparation of monthly financial accounts for group entities
- Assist with the budgeting process and preparation of cash flow forecasts
- Assist with the compliance of statutory requirements, such as GST, FBT, etc.
- Providing backup for Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll Officer and Purchasing roles
- Entering and reconciling the various division's accounts including the charitable entity the business supports and runs
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Solid accounting skills and financial reporting experience
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Able to prioritise and self-manage workload in a highly organised fashion
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
