THE POSITION
- Management accounting & reporting.
- Management of month end purchasing income consolidations and allocations processes.
- Review, analysis, and accounting for month end purchasing income and P&Ls for CGA sectors against budget/forecast.
- Identification of risks and opportunities in financial performance.
- Working capital review, monthly reporting, and management for Foodbuy debtors and accruals.
- Management of timely invoicing and accounting for manual rebate claims and 3rd party fee invoicing and disbursements in line with contractual requirements and entitlements.
- Ensure integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of accounting and financial results.
- Together with analytics and procurement teams, promote accuracy in recording and use of contractual commercial entitlements in Master Data systems.
THE PERSON:
- Tertiary Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or international equivalent).
- At least 5-6 years’ work experience in a finance-related intermediate or senior capacity.
- Solid financial modelling skills, and the ability to simplify complex data and models into succinct and clear messages.
- An analytical mind.
- Experience working with high volume data and fast paced industries will be highly regarded.
- Experience within catering service, procurement, or related industry.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
