Our for-purpose community focused organisation in Perth requires a qualified Financial Accountant on a temporary basis, to ideally start within the next week.For now this temporary assignment is estimated to be for 2-3 months, with possibilities for extension.
Your new role
- Month-end and Year-end accounting activities.
- Assist with preparation of all financial statements.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with audit file preparation and resolving any queries.
- Fixed asset register maintenance.
- BAS and FBT reporting.
- Contribute to the completion of monthly management and Board financial management reporting.
- Ad hoc accounting and reconciliation tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Available to start within the next 1 week.
- CA/CPA full accounting qualification, with a degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Proven experience in month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Previous audit experience is highly advantageous, but not essential.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong Excel and finance system skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders.
- If offered this temporary assignment, you will need to provide a recently obtained National Police Check.
