Based on the Eastern shore, this Global Business is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Australian head office on a permanent full time basis. Your new role
Based on the Eastern Shore and reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for the preparation of monthly accounting reports as well as completion of balance sheet reconciliations. You’ll work with the Finance team to assist with the completion of statutory reporting, including but not limited to the monthly BAS, annual FBT return, income tax provision and income tax return in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. You’ll also maintain effective stakeholder relationships across the broader business and enjoy challenging the way things have historically been done.
What you'll need to succeed
Either CA/CPA qualified or part CA/CPA qualified, you’ll be outcome focused and have the proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines. You’ll have well-developed communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and an analytical mindset which lends itself to problem solving. A high-level proficiency in excel is also essential, and you’ll enjoy problem-solving with key stakeholders right across the organisation. This is an excellent role for someone looking for their first role in industry out of public practice, or their second role within industry!
You’ll also be prepared to under national police check prior to commencement.
