SalaryA Global Business and leader in their field is seeking a junior Financial Accountant to join their corporate headquarters located in Brisbane CBD. Joining a very high quality team you will have a varied role supporting all aspects of group financial reporting.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the month end financial close process
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of the fixed assets and leases sub ledger
- Preparing journals
- Ensuring compliance with policy and standards
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Maintaining relevant controls
- Assisting with all levels of reporting and associated analysis
- Involvement in projects such as system implementations
- Support for process automation and process improvements
Your experience, qualifications and attributes:
- Degree qualified and working towards CA/CPA qualifications
- Self motivated and driven to succeed
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy, (systems used include SAP and Qlikview)
- Proactive with strong organisational skills
