This is a 6 month contract role working as a Financial Accountant supporting the Technology Team in day to day financial processes. This is a Melbourne based role; we operate a flexible working policy in a hyrbid setup.
What you’ll do
- Conduct Month End Procedures
- Prepare Half and Full Year Statutory requirements
- Ensure General Ledger Reconciliations are completed
- Support the Head of Finance – Technology to provide financial support to the CIO and Technology Leadership team, including commercial support for all internal and external engagements, business cases and external market exercises
- Contribute to the budget planning and provide forecasting analysis
- Prepare and contribute to all reporting obligations, Opex and Capex
- Maintain continuous lines of communication, ensuring key stakeholders are informed of key issues impacting financial performance.
- Process time recording and execute
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years experience working as a Financial Accountant
- Strong analytical, decision making and communication skills
- Very high capability for working with large financial spreadsheet models on Excel
- Experience with ERP such as Oracle Fusion and reporting tools
- Experience in preparation of presentations in PowerPoint
