- Perform financial period close tasks and complex journal entries/accounting analysis
- Perform Balance Sheet analysis and reviews, including reconciliations of accounts (including review of the reconciliations done by the junior accountants)
- Perform local fiscal declaration (such as GST/BAS)
- Participate in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements
- Perform variance analysis of actual results vs. financial plans (budgets and forecasts)
- Preparing financial KPIs and reviewing for accuracy
- Prepare ad-hoc performance analysis and management reporting
- Assist in financial integration for new acquisitions
- Participate in Finance projects
- Fully responsible for AR/AP/Month End
- Qualified Financial Accountant qualified certification with at least 5+ years post-qualification experience
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar related discipline is desirable
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency within Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerBI) and Netsuite
- A detail-oriented self-starter who thrives on the process and solving problems
- A genuinely curious mindset, capable of quickly learning new systems, and the desire to grow and develop over time
- A team player who loves a challenge and wants to eventually ‘own’ their area of the business
- Someone who is driven by life-long learning and continuous professional development
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential
