Financial Accountant - Permanent Opportunity - Newly Created Position

The Organisation:
An award-winning organisation that has a diverse business portfolio and has been successful in each of its target markets.

The Role:
This is a permanent financial accounting position, which has been Newly Created to offer more support to the corporate accounting team.  This role has a broad range of responsibilities where you will get your hands dirty.

Your duties will include:

• Journal preparation for multiple entities
• P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
• Consolidated group financial reporting
• Payroll tax and FBT preparation
• Assistance in the development of the EOM and EOFY statutory reporting.

They are offering a salary of $85k to $99k + Super and you’ll be joining a strong team who are dedicated in their approach and have developed a supportive and high achieving culture.
  
Your Skills and Experience:
From a technical perspective you need to be able demonstrate experience from varied finance roles where you have effectively contributed to/delivered EOM and EOFY financial statements.  You must also be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and build relationships across finance and broader business.

Ideally you will be working towards your CA/CPA and have experience of working from a private sector business or consulting/accounting firm.
