A terrific opportunity has become available to join our Finance Team, reporting directly to the Finance Director. We are seeking an experienced Accountant for a full-time role who can grow with our business. You’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations and have the opportunity to contribute to various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain internal control integrity, reporting, compliance and financial governance
- Manage monthly accruals, provisions and reconciliations
- Manage month-end process including the completion of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and production of the financial statements
- Assist with preparation of monthly management reports
- Manage fixed assets
- Ensure compliance with group tax, monthly BAS lodgement and other compliance requirements
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements, including working with external auditors
- Liaise with tax consultants to ensure income tax compliance
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, supporting internal departments
- Identification and implementation of process improvement projects
What will you bring
- CPA qualified with 3+ years post qualification accounting experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- A continuous improvement approach and strong ability to show initiative
- Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to be flexible
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in cross-referencing
- Analytical thinker with a results-oriented mindset
- Technically savvy with exceptional computer skills
- Finance transformation or other project related experience
