We have a new opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our Head Office team in Pinkenba. We value bright minds and focussed thinking in our tight-knit, highly driven team. This full-time, permanent, and on-site role reports to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions for seamless operations.
- Allocate deposits to COD transactions for efficiency.
- Prepare invoices with meticulous attention to detail.
- Execute banking transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records regularly.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting for future planning.
- Utilise BAS Excel reconciliation models for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Support auditing procedures ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
